The new page speed testing tool helps you hone in on the aspects of your website that need to be improved, alerting you to tips that make it runs smoother. As you type in your URL, Google looks at various factors on your site (both mobile and desktop versions) to deliver the score.

Even Google’s own Analytics received a score of Fair at 74 out of 100. Of the many websites I’ve tested, no score was too great, which shows how difficult it is for all the plugins, images, text, and sliders to respond to the size of the screen and adjust to mobile speed.
